Ann Curry

Her father served as an U.S. Navy sailor. Following World War II, her parents met when her father was serving in Japan. Her father was employed in the military and she family was forced to relocate frequently. Curry went to secondary school in Ashland Oregon. She graduated in 1978 in 1978 from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Through her tenure of six years with the station, she earned the award of two Emmy Awards.
